Changes
If anyone is out there, I think this blog is about to turn into a crafting and sewing blog. Be prepared.

Dear World
I managed to successfully trade this blog over from an old e-mail address on to my google account. Everyone fear my technical ingenuity. Really I just wanted to keep this name. Victory.

Some things don't change
I post with very important updates. Not really.
I cut off all my hair again. It is much easier to manage. I probably cut off 10-11 inches in total.
I've been in NJ most of the summer, working at the library here, and I really love it. I guess that means I'm on the right career path or something.
Happy video:

Some pictures...
I guess we all kind of suck at this, but real life does get in the way. I only wish I were better at the phone, I would call you guys, but phones make me feel the pressure to have something interesting to say.
I do, however, have something interesting to post. After a few weeks to get settled in, I went with two of my roommates to look at cats at a few nearby shelters. The results:
Meet Charlotte.
And Bailey.
Okay, so, multiple cats were not in the plans, at all. But these two are sisters, both sweet and friendly. Bailey is a bit more playful and energetic and Charlotte is a little fluffier and a definite sleeper. They've already made our house feel complete. It was also not in the plans for kittens, but I will take them to the vet this week to find out their exact ages and what they need done (and when they can be fixed).
Hopefully I'll have a better photopost later, but for now, I have reading journals to catch up on. If you thought literary theory was kind of boring to read, try information behavior theory. At least the class itself is interesting!

School
Classes are good. I am taking a computer class that is incredibly boring, because it is just stuff I already know how to do. I am hoping it will be an easy A/ possibly actually teach me something at some point, since I decided not to try and test out of it. My "Human Information Behavior" class is interesting, but tons of reading. We also have to do a reading log journal, and it is going to be tough. My children's materials class seems awesome and the teacher is really funny.
My job is pretty interesting, I do random office tasks and get to sort archival materials for an archive they are creating. It isn't really normal library work but it is far more interesting than sitting at the circulation desk all day (which is what the undergrad assistants do). Today I got to look at dirty art postcards, which was neat but made me feel awkward looking at them at work.
I know i owe pictures, and I'd really like to take pictures of the library I work in as well. So, hopefully pictures this weekend.

First day of school
Tomorrow is my first day of school. I had to pick out an outfit and everything. I always hated that it was still hot on the first day of school so you couldn't really wear your new fall clothes without being uncomfortable. The past few days have been great, weather wise, but today was back in the 80's and tomorrow will be too. Though I am happy to have left the 90's and 100's of Virginia's August behind.
I'm a bit nervous, mostly about making friends, but hopefully it won't be too bad. I've hung out with the girl I already knew and her roommate, so I have two official friends.
All of my roommates have finally moved in, and are really nice. Two of us even came up with a house drink, and we all wrote out our house rules for Kings. You know, get out the important stuff first. Right now it all feels like college part two, but I know after school tomorrow and work on Wednesday it will be a little more like real life, especially since I am looking into getting an internship on top of the work study I am already doing. A library kind of near here wants an intern for the children's department, 10 hours a week. It is the perfect job for me, if they can look past the fact that I am a first year.
I hope this all works out.
Pictures will come soon, when i actually finish organizing my amazing closet. Seriously, I will have to take pictures of the closet in levels.
Also, I miss everyone!
